We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Functional Team Lead to lead SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation and support engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP EWM functional expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing implementation teams, customer engagements, and delivery excellence. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and global delivery organizations to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP EWM functional consultants across multiple engagements.
- Drive requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare Functional Specifications and coordinate development with technical teams.
- Ensure successful delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
- Perform resource planning, workload allocation, and delivery governance.
- Work closely with business users to understand warehouse processes and recommend SAP best practices.
- Lead workshops, blueprint sessions, solution reviews, and design discussions.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, integration testing, and production cutover activities.
- Resolve complex production support issues and provide functional guidance.
- Ensure compliance with change management and governance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and ABAP.
- Drive continuous process improvements and adoption of SAP EWM best practices.
- Support project estimation, planning, risk management, and status reporting.
- Coach team members and contribute to organizational capability development.
Required Experience
- 6–10 years of SAP consulting experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP EWM experience.
- At least 3–5 end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects.
- Experience leading functional teams in global delivery environments.
- Strong knowledge of Embedded and Decentralized SAP EWM.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations is preferred.
- Experience in rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects.
