Role Overview :
As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for our clients.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other consultants to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and configure the SAP EWM system accordingly.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring successful project delivery and maximizing the value of SAP EWM for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse management processes.
- Design and configure SAP EWM solutions to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and integrations, collaborating with ABAP developers for implementation.
- Perform system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize the SAP EWM system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP EWM, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation, including business blueprints, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM functionalities and technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions, with a strong understanding of warehouse management processes.
- Proven experience in integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, and SAP SD.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, including data modeling and performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
