Job Description: SAP EDI Technical Consultant
Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Pan India
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP logistics integration and EDI X12 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support EDI integrations between SAP and JD Logistics / 3PL systems.
- Plan, develop, configure, and support EDI interfaces between SAP and JD Logistics / 3PL systems, ensuring accurate and timely exchange of logistics data.
- Work with X12 transactions such as:
- 940 – Warehouse Shipping Order
- 945 – Warehouse Shipping Advice
- 856 – Advance Shipping Notice (ASN)
- Handle and support data flow across middleware and SAP systems for the above transactions.
- Configure and troubleshoot SAP IDocs and middleware mappings using tools such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, Seeburger, and Sterling.
- Configure IDocs, partner profiles, ports, and logical systems.
- Design and implement mappings and transformations using middleware tools such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other EDI platforms.
- Collaborate with SAP SD, LE, and WM teams to align logistics and shipment processes.
- Develop RICEF objects using both HANA ABAP and Core ABAP.
- Work on interfaces including BAPI, IDoc, and Flat File interfaces, including file handling on Application Server and Presentation Server.
- Apply strong knowledge of 3PL operations, warehousing, and shipment execution.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure seamless communication across systems.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with EDI standards (940, 945, 856).
- Strong expertise in SAP CPI (Cloud Integration), including:
- API Management (APIM)
- Integration Advisor
- Open Connectors
- Event Mesh
- SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
- Experience with SAP Build Workzone and SAP Build Process Automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Work Timings:
- Willingness to work in 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST) as per client requirement.
