🔹 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP DMS (Document Management System) Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support enterprise-grade document management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP DMS, document lifecycle management, content management, workflow, security, and SAP integration. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant document management solutions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and support SAP DMS solutions.
- Configure Document Info Records (DIRs), Document Types, Storage Categories, Version Control, and Digital Signatures.
- Manage the complete document lifecycle from creation through revision, approval, and archiving.
- Configure SAP DMS integration with PM, MM, PP, and PS modules.
- Design and implement document approval, routing, notification, and release workflows.
- Work with KPro, ArchiveLink, and Content Servers.
- Support integrations with external content platforms such as OpenText and SharePoint, where applicable.
- Implement role-based access controls, authorizations, and document security.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance and applicable regulatory standards such as FDA/GxP and ISO.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and change request management within defined SLAs.
- Prepare functional specifications, test cases, SIT/UAT documentation, and end-user training materials.
🛠️ Required Skills
✅ 10+ years of overall experience with strong hands-on SAP DMS experience
✅ Expertise in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
✅ Strong knowledge of Document Info Records (DIR), Document Types & Document Classification
✅ Hands-on experience with KPro, ArchiveLink & Content Servers
✅ Experience in Metadata Management & Document Lifecycle Management
✅ Knowledge of SAP DMS integration with PM/MM/PP/PS
✅ Strong understanding of Workflow, Security & Authorizations
✅ Experience with OpenText / SharePoint integration is an advantage
✅ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
🎓 Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
