About the role
In your role, you would be enabling the delivery and improvement of downtime optimized, and automated/semi-automated lifecycle management activities with a focus on providing feedback to fully automate wherever possible. You will be responsible in delivering the SAP S/4HANA in cloud, working with the best of technologies e.g., HANA, Fiori, the best of breed cloud platforms like Google Cloud, Azure and host of cloud process, platform and tools that have been built internally. You will also be collaborating closely with multiple teams like S/4HANA Product Development, Cloud Infrastructure and Solution Management colleagues spread across various geographies.
Ensure/perform delivery of activities within defined SLAs for the customer/internal landscapes which will include various internal stakeholders
Sound knowledge of BASIS activities like Client Administration, System Refresh/Copy, and application update/upgrade
One of the key Focus areas of your activities will be increasing automation along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers
Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network.
Hands-On knowledge on HANA db administration
Knowledge on handling ABAP/HANA performance issues & Root cause Analysis
Knowledge on working on Cloud Environment is an added advantage
Knowledge on working on Linux
Basic understanding & working knowledge of scripting is an added advantage
Knowledge on SPC and TIC Tools will be added advantage.
SAP Web-dispatcher & Load balancer functionality experience.
