We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to manage system customizing, documentation, and end-to-end support for Production Planning processes. The role involves working closely with business users and technical teams to analyze requirements, configure SAP solutions, coordinate developments, and ensure smooth testing and deployment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing system efficiency and supporting business operations through effective SAP PP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
System Customizing & Documentation:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP configurations
- Perform system customizing in SAP PP module to align with business processes
- Prepare functional specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation
Development Coordination:
- Draft functional specifications for WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to ensure accurate development and delivery
- Review and validate developments to meet business requirements
Testing Activities:
- Plan, design, and execute unit testing, integration testing, and system testing
- Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
User Support & Training:
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure successful sign-off
- Provide end-user training and create user manuals/documentation
- Offer post-go-live support and resolve user queries/issues
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, etc.)
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP PP with other modules
- Act as a point of contact for business users and provide functional expertise
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in SAP PP (Production Planning)
- Strong experience in SAP PP configuration and customization
- Hands-on experience with WRICEF objects and functional specifications
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation/support projects
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
- Experience in testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
