POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM/PM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in handling end-to-end SAP project activities, production support, and enhancements, particularly in complex and highly customized SAP environments within the Medical Devices, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical industry.
The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and the capability to propose multiple solution approaches aligned with SAP best practices and business requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Independently manage SAP PP, QM, and PM functional activities across projects, enhancements, and support.
- Analyze business requirements and design effective SAP solutions.
- Handle production support tickets, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Provide multiple solution options and recommend the best-fit approach based on business needs and SAP standards.
- Configure and support SAP PP, QM, and PM processes in complex and customized environments.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle activities including testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Ensure smooth integration with cross-functional teams and systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of SAP solutions with operational needs.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in user training and knowledge transfer activities.
- Participate in system audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Contribute to solution design discussions and workshops.
- Support integration with other SAP modules and external systems as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP PP/QM/PM functional experience.
- Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Experience in complex and highly customized SAP environments.
- SAP S/4HANA and ECC experience is preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong expertise in SAP PP, QM, and PM modules.
- Experience in end-to-end project implementation and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated environments (FDA, GMP, ISO standards) is preferred.
- Exposure to integration with MM, EWM/WM, SD, and MES systems is an added advantage.
Training:
- SAP PP/QM/PM certification preferred.
- Training or exposure to SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Industry-specific training in regulated manufacturing environments is desirable.
