Role Description The SAP Consultant will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, analyze existing processes, and design SAP solutions that align with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring SAP modules, managing master data, and overseeing integration between SAP and other business systems. The role involves conducting workshops, preparing documentation, supporting testing activities, and providing post-implementation support to ensure system stability and user adoption. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve issues, optimize configurations, and drive continuous improvement in SAP-driven processes.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Consulting experience, including stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and solution presentation.
- Knowledge of business processes in areas such as finance, logistics, or supply chain, and experience mapping them to SAP functionalities.
- Hands-on experience managing SAP master data, including data setup, maintenance, and governance.
- Understanding of system integration concepts, including integrating SAP with other enterprise applications and data sources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with one or more SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, or HCM) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Tokyo Japan, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficiency in English is required, additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Prior experience in SAP implementation, support, or upgrade projects is preferred.
