Roles and Responsibilities
1) Solution Design & Configuration
- Lead workshops to capture Travel/Expense/Invoice business requirements and policy rules.
- Configure Expense (expense types, audit rules, allocations, workflows), Travel (online booking, travel policies, supplier content), and Invoice (PO, nonPO, 2/3way match, exceptions).
- Set up Cost Objects (cost centers, WBS, internal orders), Taxes/Per Diems, Expense Pay/Payee settings, and Audit/Compliance rules.
- Define and maintain Approval workflows (managerial, finance, exceptionbased).
2) Integrations & Data
- Design and manage integrations with SAP S/4HANA/ECC (GL, AP, HR minimaster), HCM systems, corporate card programs (Visa/MC/Amex), bank files, and travel partners/OBT (e.g., TMCs, GDS/booking tools).
- Own master data governance for employees, cost objects, vendors, tax codes, and exchange rates.
- Troubleshoot filebased (SFTP) and APIbased interfaces; coordinate with middleware teams (CPI/PI/other iPaaS).
Required Skillset:
- 7–12+ years in Spend/T&E, with 7+ years handson SAP Concur (Expense and/or Invoice; Travel nicetohave).
- Strong configuration in Expense (audit rules, expense types, allocations, workflows) and at least one of Travel or Invoice.
- Experience integrating Concur↔ERP (journal posting, vendor pay, HR minimaster), corporate card feeds (CTS/CTE, PCard, Ghost/LOD), and expense pay/payment runs.
- Understanding of GL accounting, tax/VAT, per diems/mileage, and multicountry rollouts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and training skills.
- Concur certifications (Expense/Travel/Invoice) preferred.
