Role Descriptions: Role Summary
The Hybris (SAP Commerce) Developer is responsible for designing| developing| and customizing ecommerce solutions on the SAP Commerce Cloud Hybris platform. The role focuses on building scalable storefronts| backend components| integrations| and extensions while working closely with architects| product owners| QA| and business teams.
Key Responsibilities1. SAP Commerce Hybris Development
Develop and customize Hybris extensions (core| storefront| backoffice).Implement features usingJava Spring Spring BootHybris OCC REST APIsImpex FlexibleSearchCronJobs| Product Catalog| Order ManagementExtend OOTB Hybris modules to meet business requirements.2. ECommerce Architecture Component DevelopmentBuild and enhance components acrossProduct Information Management (PIM)Cart| Checkout| Pricing| PromotionsCustomer Account AuthenticationOrder Management ServicesContent Catalog ManagementImplement reusable and scalable commerce functionalities.3. Integration API DevelopmentIntegrate SAP Commerce with enterprise systems usingREST APIs SOAPSAP ERP S4HANAPayment gatewaysSearch engines (SOLR)Build and consume APIs via OCC layer.4. Database| Querying Data Modeling
Create and manage Items.xml| type systems| and item models.Work with FlexibleSearch queries for performance optimization.Build data migration scripts using Impex data modeling best practices.5. Performance Optimization TroubleshootingPerform code optimization and caching strategies.Optimize SOLR search| indexing| and catalog queries.Debug application issues using logs| HAC| backoffice| and profiling tools.6. Good to HaveExperience with Spartacus Angular storefront.SAP ERPS4Commerce integration experience.Cloud knowledge (AzureAWSGCP).Knowledge of Kafka| RabbitMQ| or event-driven architectures. Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and debugging ability.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in AgileScrum environments.Education CertificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science| IT| Engineering| or equivalent.SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Commerce (preferred).
