About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Technical Architect to lead the design, migration, and optimization of SAP landscapes in cloud and hybrid environments. This is a strategic role requiring deep technical expertise across SAP platforms, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and security.
You will architect scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP systems aligned with business objectives while leading cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead end-to-end design of SAP solutions on cloud platforms.
- Architect hybrid and cloud-based SAP landscapes including:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- SAP Business Suite
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Provide integration strategies for cloud, on-premise, and third-party systems.
🔹 Cloud Migration & Transformation
- Design and execute SAP migrations from on-premise to:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform
- Develop migration strategies such as:
- Lift-and-shift
- Re-platforming
- Cloud-native approaches
- Lead landscape transformation initiatives.
- Ensure performance optimization and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
🔹 SAP Basis & Infrastructure Management
- Provide guidance on SAP Basis administration.
- Manage upgrades, migrations, and landscape transformations.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
- Optimize compute, storage, and networking resources.
🔹 Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices including:
- Identity and access management
- Data encryption
- Network security
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain governance frameworks for SAP cloud environments.
🔹 Performance Optimization
- Continuously monitor system performance and scalability.
- Implement cost-optimization strategies.
- Improve reliability and operational efficiency.
🔹 Innovation & Modernization
Integrate emerging technologies such as:
- AI
- Machine Learning
- IoT
- Advanced Analytics
- Stay updated with SAP cloud innovations and industry best practices.
🔹 Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide technical leadership across internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, SAP Basis teams, and development teams.
- Communicate complex technical solutions in business-friendly terms.
- Mentor junior team members where applicable.
Required Technical Skills
🔹 Extensive experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- SAP Cloud Platform
- Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration.
🔹 Hands-on experience with cloud platforms:
- AWS
- Azure
- Google Cloud
- Expertise in Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.
🔹 Familiarity with:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Serverless technologies
- Experience in SAP upgrades, migrations, and landscape transformations.
