We are looking for a skilled SAP CI-DS Developer to design, build, and support data integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS), strong knowledge of ETL development, and experience integrating systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, Ariba, and external platforms.
This role will work closely with functional teams, data architects, and business stakeholders to develop scalable and reliable data pipelines for master data, transactional data, and analytical integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP CI-DS data flows, workflows, and mappings
- Build and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Ariba, and non-SAP systems
- Develop ETL jobs for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading
- Configure and manage datastores, project structures, tasks, and schedules in CI-DS
- Support data migration, master data replication, and interface development
- Work with source objects such as tables, CDS views, ODP extractors, flat files, APIs, and database connections
- Perform data mapping, field-level transformation logic, lookups, joins, filters, and validations
- Troubleshoot job failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies
- Support end-to-end testing, defect fixing, and production deployment activities
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into integration solutions
- Prepare technical design documents, mapping documents, and support documentation
- Monitor CI-DS jobs and ensure successful execution across development, test, and production environments
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CI-DS / SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services
- Good understanding of ETL / ELT concepts
- Experience integrating with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP IBP
- SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP Datasphere
- SAP Ariba
- Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of relational data models
- Experience with data mapping, cleansing, harmonization, and reconciliation
- Ability to debug and optimize CI-DS jobs for performance and reliability
- Good understanding of transport and deployment processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP IBP integration
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI
- Experience with Datasphere, Snowflake, or cloud data platforms
- Exposure to API integrations and file-based interfaces
- Understanding of supply chain, finance, or procurement business processes
- Experience working in Agile project environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP data integration or ETL development
SAP Data Services / CI-DS related experience preferred.
