Job Description – SAP BW Support

Role Overview:

We are looking for an SAP BW Support resource to support Massmart Data platforms. The role involves production support, monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting in a BW on HANA landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application support and maintenance for SAP BW 7.5 on HANA and BW/4HANA (mandatory)

• Monitor and support BW Process Chains and SAP BODS/Data Services jobs

• Analyse and fix data load, reporting, and performance-related issues

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes

• Support incident, problem, change, and defect management processes

• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders and provide regular status/reporting

• Participate in 24x7 shift-based production support as part of rotation

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• SAP BW on HANA (Must have)

• BW/4HANA (Must have)

• SAP BODS / Data Services (Good to have)

• SAP ABAP (Good to have)

Experience with:

• Process Chains, Data Sources, InfoProviders, Open Hub

• Query development, Calculated/Restricted Key Figures, Variables

• Data loads, compression, and performance tuning

• Exposure to S/4 HANA, CDS Views, and Virtual Data Models is preferred

Experience & Qualification:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP BW/BW4HANA support projects

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science or related discipline

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
