Role: SAP BW-BI-IP & SAC Planning Support Consultant
Experience Range: 4 – 8 Years
Annual Budget: ₹17,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 Per Annum (17 - 18 LPA max)
Location: Bangalore
Work Arrangement: Full-Time, Hybrid Model
Onboarding SLA: Immediate Joiners Only (Maximum 20 days notice period)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW-BI-IP Support Consultant with 4 to 8 years of relevant application support experience. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, stability, and minor enhancements of our critical enterprise data warehousing and business planning systems. This is a full-time position based out of Bangalore, operating on a hybrid work model, requiring an exceptionally fast onboarding timeline.
Mandatory Technical Skills
SAP BI-IP & SAP BPC (Integrated Planning)
- Strong capabilities supporting active planning models: troubleshooting Aggregation Levels, Planning Filters, and Planning Variables.
- Hands-on proficiency modifying and running Planning Functions, Sequences, and writing custom FOX Formulas.
- Familiarity with legacy/embedded BPC layouts and input-ready query administration.
SAC Planning (SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Operational knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud environments configured for enterprise forecasting/budgeting.
- Ability to debug data synchronization errors, maintain planning dimensions, validate data models, and support SAC stories/data actions.
SAP BW & HANA Studio
- Advanced capabilities navigating and supporting data platforms natively inside HANA Studio.
- Deep troubleshooting expertise managing modern and legacy objects (ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoCubes, MultiProviders).
- Excellent diagnostic skills handling production execution drops inside complex Process Chains.
BW-ABAP (Support Customization)
- Capability to read, trace, and debug Object-Oriented ABAP code blocks.
- Experience writing and modifying custom Start, End, and Field transformation routines, planning BAdIs, and BEx customer variables exits.
BEx (Business Explorer)
- Extensive background creating, modifying, and optimizing queries inside BEx Query Designer.
- Strong understanding of calculated key figures, restricted key figures, technical variables, structures, and exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ITIL-compliant production support (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) across complex BW, Planning, and SAC analytical frameworks.
- Actively monitor daily, weekly, and close-period batch schedules, quickly fixing data extraction hangs, system memory bottle-necks, and data locking conflicts (RSPLSE).
- Partner with international Finance and Business teams during peak budgeting/forecasting windows to address high-priority system tickets.
- Author crisp Root Cause Analysis (RCA) records and safely coordinate transport migrations (STMS) from development into the production ecosystem.
Sourcing Criteria & Profile Filters
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent computer science background.
- Notice Period: Candidates must strictly be on active notice, on a buyout option, or immediately available to onboard within 20 calendar days.
- Soft Skills: Highly articulate communicator with strong written documentation abilities to smoothly manage technical interactions with international functional clients.
