Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled SAP BW Developer with 6-8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain SAP BW solutions. The candidate will be responsible for data modeling, ETL development, and supporting reporting requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models including InfoObjects, InfoProviders, and (DSO/ADSO).
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using DataSources, Transformations, and DTPs.
- Build and optimize BEx Queries to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in SAP BW.
- Support integration with SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Ensure data consistency, quality, and timely data loads.
- Provide support for reporting tools such as SAP BO or Power BI when required.
Required Skills
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW development.
- Strong knowledge of BW data modeling (InfoObjects, ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views).
- Experience in Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, and Data Extraction.
- Good understanding of BEx Query Designer.
- Experience with data troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging in BW environment is a plus.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP BW / BW4HANA Certification (Nice to Have).
- Experience with SAP BO, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC data extraction.
- Experience working in data warehouse or analytics projects.
