Role: Senior Consultant / Lead Consultant – SAP BW & Integrated Planning

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic SAP BW Consultant with 4 to 10 years of experience to join our analytics division in Bangalore. This is a full-time position operating on a hybrid model. The ideal candidate must be a technical expert capable of building high-performance modern data warehousing assets, robust financial/operational planning modules, and real-time operational reporting.
Mandatory Technical Skills & Core Competencies:
SAP BW/4HANA (Modern Data Warehousing)
- Hands-on data modeling experience using Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), Composite Providers, Open ODS views, and InfoObjects.
- Expertise in creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex Process Chains and managing data lifecycle optimization.
SAP BW-IP (Integrated Planning)
- Deep understanding of real-time planning environments: creating Aggregation Levels, Planning Filters, and Planning Variables.
- Extensive experience constructing and fixing Planning Functions and Planning Sequences.
- Mastery over writing and debugging FOX Formulas (Formula Extension) for highly customized, complex planning logic.
- Experience managing input-ready queries and handling data lock conflicts via RSPLSE.
BW-ABAP (Custom Backend Customization)
- Proficient in writing, maintaining, and debugging clean Object-Oriented ABAP code designed specifically for data warehousing.
- Hands-on execution writing Start, End, and Expert Routines inside transformations, custom BEx variable exits, and enhancement planning BAdIs.
Embedded Analytics (CDS Views)
- Comprehensive knowledge of S/4HANA Embedded Analytics framework.
- Strong capabilities in creating and optimizing Core Data Services (CDS) Views utilizing annotations, parameters, associations, and Virtual Data Models (VDMs) for real-time reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain complex backend architectures across BW/4HANA, BW-IP, and S/4HANA system paths.
- Translate complex financial/operational planning requirements into clear technical specifications, optimized data models, and automated sequences.
- Monitor high-volume data extractions, execute routine query tuning, and optimize indexing/partitioning configurations to comply with tight support SLAs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and functional consultants to ensure enterprise data delivery consistency.
Candidate Profile Requirements
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or aligned technical background.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding articulation, structural analysis logic, and top-tier presentation skills to confidently explain backend solutions to key stakeholders.
- Joining Horizon: Currently on a buyout, serving a notice period, or unemployed with a maximum timeline of 20 calendar days to onboard.
