Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP BTP Technical Consultant to drive clean core transformation initiatives and deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions on SAP BTP. The role involves working closely with architects and business teams to modernize custom code, enable best practices, and support S/4HANA transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive clean core transformation by identifying opportunities to reduce system complexity
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to define and implement extension strategies (in-app & side-by-side)
- Establish and enforce custom code governance standards
- Enable and guide teams on SAP S/4HANA and BTP development best practices
- Perform custom code analysis and remediation aligned with clean core principles
- Identify opportunities to replace or re-platform legacy customizations
- Leverage AI-driven tools for code optimization and transformation
- Conduct impact analysis for data model simplification in S/4HANA
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in ABAP on S/4HANA (4–6 years)
- Hands-on expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP)
- Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Working knowledge of SAP Build Apps
- Experience in SAP Business Process Automation
- Hands-on exposure to ABAP Cloud
- Experience with AI Core / AI Launchpad on SAP BTP
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Exposure to side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP
- Understanding of clean core strategy and implementation
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
