Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) Consultant to design, develop, and deploy intelligent process automation solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Build Process Automation, Workflow Management, Business Rules, and Integrations with SAP S/4HANA and Non-SAP systems.
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end automation lifecycle — from process design and bot development to testing, deployment, and optimization within SAP BTP.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement automation workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) on SAP BTP.
- Develop business process models, decision rules, and workflow logic leveraging SAP Workflow Management and Business Rules Service.
- Integrate SBPA solutions with S/4HANA, SAP Build Apps, and external APIs using SAP Integration Suite.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to identify automation opportunities and design scalable, reusable components.
- Configure Process Visibility dashboards for monitoring and reporting automation performance.
- Develop automation bots using RPA, iRPA, and AI services within BTP.
- Manage testing, deployment, and hypercare for end-to-end automation processes.
- Support governance, documentation, and reusable asset creation for the automation framework.
Required Skills & Experience:- 6–10 years of total experience, with 3+ years in SAP BTP / SBPA (Build Process Automation / Workflow / Rules).
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services, Workflow Management, Business Rules, Process Visibility, and RPA.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Build Process Automation, Cloud Foundry environment, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Understanding of CAPM, CDS, OData, SAP HANA Cloud, and Fiori/UI5 is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration for intelligent decision automation.
- Proficient in JavaScript / Node.js scripting for custom extensions.
- Experience in Agile / DevOps environments, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
Preferred Qualifications:- SAP Certified – SAP Build Process Automation / SAP BTP Extension Developer.
- Experience integrating with SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur workflows.
- Exposure to Process Discovery / Signavio tools.
