Job Role: SAP BTP CPI Architect

Role Description
The SAP BTP CPI Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The architect will design, implement, and optimize integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), ensuring robust connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business processes, defining integration architectures, configuring and monitoring CPI interfaces, and troubleshooting complex integration issues. The role involves working closely with consulting and development teams to translate solution requirements into technical designs, preparing documentation, and guiding implementation best practices. The architect will also support performance tuning, security configuration, and continuous improvement of the overall integration landscape.
Profile Requirements
- Strong understanding of Business Process analysis and design, with the ability to translate business requirements into integration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration, including system configuration, performance monitoring, and security concepts.
- Background in Consulting, including stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and solution presentation to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in Solution Architecture and Integration, particularly SAP BTP CPI, API management, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC).
- Proficiency in XML, JSON, Groovy scripting, and integration mapping tools, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced SAP integration certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid integration scenarios, along with knowledge of security standards such as OAuth, SAML, and TLS.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
