Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in SAP ABAP with BTP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in SAP environments, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using SAP ABAP with BTP.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain documentation for software development processes and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to SAP and software development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP with BTP programming.
- Proven experience in software development and application design.
- Solid understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
- Experience with database management systems, particularly SAP HANA.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and SAP Cloud Platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on SAP ABAP with BTP
- Relevant certifications in SAP or software development are a plus.
