SAP BTP AI Developer
Whitehall Resources require a SAP BTP AI Developer to work with a key client on a 6-month initial contract.
*This role will be working remotely from India.
SAP BTP AI Developer
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning applications on SAP BTP
* Build scalable services using SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad, CAP, and Kyma/Kubernetes
* Integrate AI solutions with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud applications, and external systems
* Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Node.js, Python, or Java
* Implement data pipelines, training workflows, and inference services
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
* Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
* Contribute to architectural design, technical documentation, and best practices
* Stay up to date with SAP BTP, GenAI, and cloud development trends
Required Skills & Experience:
* 4+ years of experience in SAP development, with at least 2+ years focused on SAP BTP
* Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, or comparable AI/ML platforms
* Strong development background in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
* Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java
* Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA, ODATA services, and REST APIs
* Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and CI/CD
* Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, data modelling, and data engineering concepts
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams
* Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, or SAP Business Rules
* Exposure to SAP Datasphere, Kyma, or Event Mesh
* Knowledge of GenAI frameworks or large language model integration
