Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Technical SAP BRIM Consultant with deep knowledge of Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI) framework and strong technical expertise across SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) and SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).
The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and capable of debugging, troubleshooting, and extending BRIM functionality in a complex system landscape.
Responsibilities:
1. SAP BRIM Technical Expertise
- Implement and enhance technical components across SAP BRIM, with a focus on:
- SAP SOM (Subscription Order Management)
- SAP CI (Convergent Invoicing)
- Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI) framework
- Develop and maintain custom enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and frameworks relevant to BRIM processes.
2. Troubleshooting & Error Handling
- Analyze system logs, runtime errors, and billing/invoicing failures related to SOM → ODI → CI processes.
- Investigate error messages, provider contract inconsistencies, and replication errors.
- Perform systematic root cause analysis across multiple components and integration layers.
3. Debugging & Development
- Debug ABAP code in SOM and CI environments, including:
- Billing order creation and processing
- Provider contract lifecycle processing
- Build new custom functionalities and enhancements using modern ABAP, BRF+, and relevant SAP frameworks.
- Ensure high quality technical documentation and transport management.
- Work closely with functional BRIM consultants to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
