Role Description: SAP BODS Data Migration Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SAP BODS Data Migration Developer to join our Data Management team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing data migration solutions using
SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS). The role involves collaborating with functional teams to perform data extraction, transformation, mapping, validation, and loading activities to ensure successful migration of legacy data into SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data migration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS).
- Collaborate with Functional Data Conversion teams to understand business requirements and define field mappings.
- Perform data extraction, profiling, analysis, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Design and implement data conversion programs for SAP implementation projects.
- Analyze legacy system data and ensure data quality before migration.
- Validate migrated data and resolve data-related issues during migration cycles.
- Execute mock loads, trial conversions, and production data migration activities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SAP BODS jobs for performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation for ETL processes, mappings, and migration objects.
- Support cutover activities and post-go-live data migration support.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS).
- Expertise in Data Migration, ETL Development, Data Extraction, Data Transformation, and Data Loading.
- Experience in Data Mapping, Data Cleansing, Data Validation, and Data Quality.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working with SAP implementation or migration projects.
- Ability to analyze legacy data structures and design conversion solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP migration methodologies and data governance.
- Familiarity with SAP functional modules and integration concepts.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
