Job Description – SAP BusinessObjects Data Services Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects Data Services Consultant to join our team as a Custom Software Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tailored software and data integration solutions to support enterprise applications and business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Collaborate with and manage team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Take responsibility for team-level technical and delivery decisions.
- Work closely with multiple teams and contribute to key project and architectural decisions.
- Provide technical solutions and guidance for immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Lead project coordination activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical and professional development.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with business objectives.
- Design and develop data integration and transformation workflows using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Optimize data processing workflows for scalability and performance in enterprise environments.
- Implement data quality management, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Work with multiple data sources and target systems to support complex business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data services and software components.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing ETL/data integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of data transformation and workflow optimization techniques.
- Experience in data quality management and exception handling.
- Ability to work with diverse enterprise data sources and target platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services is mandatory.
- Candidate should be comfortable working from the Bengaluru location.
- A full-time 15 years of education is required.
