Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP BODS Consultant with strong Data Integration experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP BODS, along with exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and REST API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS)
- Perform data extraction from SAP ECC and SAP BW systems
- Build and optimize data integration workflows and data pipelines
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using REST API
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance tuning of ETL jobs
- Work closely with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data loads and transformations
- Maintain documentation for data flows and processes
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BODS (Data Services)
- Mandatory experience in Data Integration / ETL development
- Experience working with SAP ECC and SAP BW
- Good knowledge of REST APIs and integration concepts
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP HANA or S/4HANA
- Exposure to cloud integration platforms
- Basic knowledge of scripting (Python/Shell)
- Performance optimization and debugging skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or related field
Good to Have:
- Experience in end-to-end implementation or support projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
