Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) Tech Lead to drive the design and implementation of enterprise-grade analytics solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on delivering scalable BI solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current data models, analytics frameworks, and existing Power BI solutions; define and execute transition strategy to SAP BO.
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
- Architect scalable BI systems, including data modeling, integration, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (VPs, Directors, and operational teams) to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop MVPs and deliver iterative outcomes aligned with Agile/Kanban methodologies.
- Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and documentation within the SAP BO landscape.
- Ensure best practices in architecture, security, and performance are consistently followed.
- Mentor and guide junior team members; drive knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Troubleshoot and optimize BI environments for reliability, scalability, and performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, BI Platform).
- Experience with SAP ecosystem integration (ECC, BW, HANA).
- Strong experience with RESTAPI.
- Advanced SQL skills with focus on query optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, BI architecture, and reporting solutions.
- Experience in system upgrades, migrations, and enterprise-level troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership experience managing onsite/offshore teams.
- Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders
