SAP BDC Consultant – SAP Datasphere & SAC
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BDC Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions, integrating data from multiple sources, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL/Python and exposure to modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities SAP Datasphere Implementation & Configuration
- Lead implementation and configuration of SAP Datasphere solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Design and develop scalable data models, workflows, and pipelines.
- Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, third-party systems, and legacy applications.
- Customize SAP Datasphere components based on business requirements.
Data Integration & Orchestration
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Build and schedule automated workflows for seamless data movement and processing.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design scalable and efficient data architectures.
Data Governance & Security
- Implement data governance practices including metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
- Manage access controls and maintain data integrity across platforms.
- Monitor and improve data quality through cleansing and transformation processes.
Analytics & Reporting
- Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA, and other BI tools.
- Support self-service analytics and reporting capabilities for business users.
- Enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and workflows.
- Troubleshoot system issues, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of data operations.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and IT teams to deliver effective data solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving data-related issues.
