Position: SAP basis with Hana DB
Location : any infosys location in India
Duration: Contract
Job Description ::
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, BW, and other SAP applications
• Administer and manage SAP HANA database
• Perform SAP system refresh, client copy, kernel upgrades, and support pack upgrades
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (CPU, memory, disk, HANA alerts)
• Handle HANA backup & recovery operations
• Configure and manage SAP transport management system (TMS)
• Perform system copies (Homogeneous & Heterogeneous)
• User and role administration (basic security knowledge)
• Work on High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setup
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams for system-related activities
• Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in SAP Basis administration
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA DB administration
• Experience in:
• HANA Installation & Upgrades
• HANA Studio / HANA Cockpit
• Performance tuning
• System Monitoring
• Knowledge of OS (Linux/Windows) and basic DB concepts
• Experience in Solution Manager monitoring (preferred)
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage
