About The Job
ERP Analytics M&S expert provides best-in-class SAP Analytics solutions for Opella business and Digital teams to bring value with data and deliver trusted insights, while ensuring the consistency and integrity of the applicative ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide value to Opella by building and providing support for analytics solutions based on SAP Analytics products which include S/4HANA (Fiori), BW4/HANA, Business Objects (Webi and Analysis for Office), BODS, SAP BDC, SAP Analytics Cloud; but also, with other tools like Power BI or Snowflake, and own communication to stakeholders.
- Understand the business requirements for S/4 HANA reporting needs and collaborate to define the list of solutions that will be required to meet these requirements. Build, own and share decision tree to leverage right solution for a requirement with pros and cons. Organize and execute Knowledge transfer to implementation/ support partner on decision tree and norms/ standards.
- Collaborate on designing and building analytics best practices, standards, norms. Support the development and delivery of reusable components that can be orchestrated together.
- Collaborate closely with the ERP Analytics Lead on providing advice and implementing governance to manage projects and change requests, impacting SAP Analytics products and integrated components.
- Be part of multidisciplinary technical teams on technical life cycle activities including upgrades with hosting providers and implementation partners. Establish partnership with functional architect teams and business.
- As member of the ERP Analytics team, you will drive the implementation of partner activities in analytics design, development, testing and deployments. You will monitor implementation partners to ensure the quality of their deliverables and there are following rules agreed and SLAs.
- Own expertise and apply to bring value and innovation on S/4HANA Analytics, BW4/HANA, Business Objects (Webi and Analysis for Office), Power BI, SQL and BODS. Desired knowledge on SAP BDC services, including Datasphere, SAC and SAP Databricks.
Experience
About you:
- 7+ years of Analytics and reporting technologies working on Global projects, preferably in a FMCG and/or FMCH context.
- Strong experience and understanding of Data architecture, analytical solutions that include SAP and non-SAP solutions (Power BI and Snowflake). Nice to have experience on SAP BDC services (Datasphere, SAC and Databricks).
- Deep knowledge of organizational processes, data and associated applications. Strong knowledge of Analytics solutions, tools and processes; collecting data from multiple systems on-premises and cloud-based.
- Strong knowledge in Advanced analytics topics including predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Good experience in Embedded Analytics, SAP BW4/HANA and other Data warehouse platforms. In particular will be required the following skills:
- LSA++ Architecture: Understanding the Layered Scalable Architecture to build lean, high-performance data models.
- Embedded Analytics: Using CDS (Core Data Services) Views to push logic down to the database level, allowing for real-time Fiori dashboards.
- SQL coding: Ability to create SQL queries and procedures in technologies like Snowflake.
- Knowledge of working in SAP functional areas (specifically focused on SAP Production and Material Management modules) and experience being participated in projects with global scope.
- Provide proved knowledge and experience in the following:
- Core S/4HANA Production and Logistics mastery, which means deep knowledge and understanding the integration between the productive and material management processes:
- Production Execution: Deep knowledge on supply chain and batch management functional processes.
- Inventory Management and EWM: Deep understanding of stock types (unrestricted, quality inspection, blocked) and how Extended Warehouse Management data flows into analytics for warehouse throughput and bin utilization.

- Batch Traceability
- Experience of SAP analytics full lifecycle implementation projects.
- Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
- Can communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and comprehensibly. Strong value realization skills, understanding the financial implications and ROI.
- Conceptual and analytical thinking – ability to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements or strategies.
- Knowledge of agile/product development ways of working.
- Knowledge of technological trends.
