Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications while ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP (RICEF, OOPS ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, OData, CDS Views).
- Build cloud-based applications using SAP BTP services and CAPM (Node.js/Java) frameworks.
- Develop and maintain OData services, Fiori elements, RAP models, and CDS-based solutions.
- Integrate SAP On-Premise systems with BTP cloud components.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across ABAP and BTP applications.
- Collaborate with functional teams for testing, deployment, and go‑live support.
Required Skills
- Strong SAP ABAP programming experience (5+ years) including RICEF objects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, and BAS.
- Experience with CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) using JavaScript/Node.js or Java.
- Proficiency in OData V2/V4, CDS Views, RAP Model, and Fiori fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA development & SQL scripting.
- Experience in integration technologies (REST APIs, SAP Connectivity).
