Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer (Support Role)
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Remote
Shift Timing: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (IST)
Job Description:
We are looking for a strong SAP ABAP Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our support team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on expertise in ABAP development along with exposure to modern SAP technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for SAP ABAP applications and resolve incidents within SLA
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces
- Work on OData services and support SAP Fiori applications
- Implement and enhance BADIs, user exits, and enhancements
- Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces (IDocs, RFC, Web Services)
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure long-term fixes
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to support processes
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP (Reports, ALV, Smart Forms, Enhancements)
- Hands-on experience with OData and SAP Fiori
- Good knowledge of BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements
- Experience in Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Proxy, Web Services)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in support/maintenance projects
Good to Have:
- Exposure to S/4HANA environment
- Basic knowledge of CDS Views
- Understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5
Additional Details:
- Willingness to work in night shift (5 PM – 2 AM IST)
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle stakeholders
