- We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in ODATA services, IDoc processing, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP). The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and S/4HANA best practices.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom ABAP programs and enhancements using best practices in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Design and build ODATA services to enable Fiori applications and integrate SAP with external systems.
- Configure and develop inbound and outbound IDoc interfaces for seamless data exchange with other systems.
- Create and optimize CDS Views for consumption in Fiori/UI5 applications and reporting.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather and understand requirements.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of custom developments.
- Maintain high-quality documentation for all development efforts.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and support activities during go-live and hypercare.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- ODATA services (SAP Gateway / SEGW)
- IDoc configuration and development
- CDS Views in S/4HANA environment
- Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
- Good understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or PP is a plus.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SAP Fiori/UI5 integration, and Eclipse-based ABAP development (ADT).
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in ABAP or related modules.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of BOPF, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), and AMDP is an advantage
