Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a SAP ABAP Consultant located in Chennai. The SAP ABAP Consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and customizing ABAP programs such as ALV Reports, User Exits, and BAPIs in alignment with business requirements. Day-to-day tasks will also include working on IDoc development and leveraging Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for robust application development, along with collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ERP optimization. knowledge on Fiori development is plus, RAP development is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ABAP development, including experience with ALV Reports, Interactive reports, and User Exits.
- Knowledge in Fiori development and RAP is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of BAPI and IDoc development for seamless data integration and communication.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) as applied to ABAP development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or FMCG domains is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
