Job Description:
SAP ABAP + CAPM Developer
Exp: 6+ Years
Notice Period: Immediate
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: 5 Days in a week
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP + CAPM Developer to design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise along with experience in building cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP (RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Design and build services using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Develop OData services using SAP Gateway / CAP
- Work with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for cloud-based solutions
- Integrate SAP systems with external applications using APIs and web services
- Enhance existing SAP solutions using user exits, BADIs, and enhancements
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of ABAP programs
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP development
- Hands-on experience with SAP CAPM (Node.js or Java)
- Knowledge of CDS Views (Core Data Services)
- Experience with OData services and REST APIs
- Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud concepts
- Understanding of HANA database concepts
- Experience with Git/version control systems
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5
- Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in SAP BTP
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
