Your Impact As a Staff Software Engineer you will: Design and implement robust software solutions that accelerate research workflows and improve data analysis capabilities Lead technical decision-making for key projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable architectures Mentor senior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture Set technical standards and drive adoption of best practices across the team Support and collaborate with other teams to optimize workflows and eliminate bottlenecks Advocate for best engineering practices About you Technical Requirements Experience with one or more of the major cloud providers such as: AWS, GCP, or Azure Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar Proficiency in JavaScript / Node.js Proficiency of microservices, APIs, and cloud security CI/CD practices and DevOps principles Soft & Behavioral Skills Experience working with multiple teams to drive alignment and results Service-oriented, flexible, and a team player who takes initiative Strong problem-solving & critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication in English Growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches Innovation-focused with a willingness to experiment and introduce improved ways of working Collaborative leadership that encourages open dialogue where team members feel safe to share ideas and learn from mistakes You have a proven ability to spot organizational leverage points that unlock exponential productivity gains Your background 8+ years of experience (or equivalent knowledge).
