Staff Engineer, Software development Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineer with background in database management to join our team at Western Digital. In this role, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our digital twin platform and database infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: 1 Design and implement efficient data pipelines to enable seamless information flow within the digital twin platform, including simulators and storage systems. 2 Establish database linkages across platforms, optimizing data structures for scalability and performance to manage large data volumes effectively. 3 Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process raw data into analysis-ready formats.. 4 Leverage machine learning and data analytics techniques to optimize the design and manufacturing process, develop design recommendation systems, identify anomalies, and support failure analysis.
