Individuals hired into the classification will typically be appointed at step 1 of the salary range. They will advance to step 2 after working in the position for six (6) months, to step 3 one year from the hire date, and to steps 4 and 5 at one-year intervals thereafter. Each salary step progression will provide a 5% increase to the employee's base salary until step 5 is reached.
