About the role
Samsung Ventures (SV) is the VC arm of the Samsung Group. With over $2.8B AUM the team's core mandate is to invest in promising startups and to foster collaboration between startups and Samsung Group companies. Our key focus areas include: AI, Robotics, Cyber Security, Health/Med-tech and Semis. Notable recent investments include Anthropic, Physical Intelligence, Figure.ai and D-Matrix.
We're looking for a full-time summer intern to work on the SV US investment managers.
Position Responsibilities:
Investment Thesis. Support creation of new investment thesis.
Screening Deals. Review investment opportunities, including analysis of company overview decks and meetings with entrepreneurs.
Investment Analysis/ Due Diligence. Conduct initial research on investment opportunities, including financial and strategic analyses. Assist deal teams on due diligence (external and internal) for likely investments.
Research Project. Work on a project for presentation to the greater SV team.
