Job Purpose

We're hiring a Product Manager, Nutrition who will be responsible for the food tracker strategy in Samsung Health, prioritizing relevant initiatives in tight alignment with the overall product strategy.

In this role, you will also own nutrition-related integrations into holistic internal services and partner services. This is not a role for developing PowerPoint, it is a role for enabling a team of engineers, designers, data analysts, and researchers to build compelling user value as quickly as possible. The successful candidate will also be passionate about creating value alignment between users and Samsung.


What You'll Do 


  • Build strategies, prioritize roadmaps, and become a domain expert in your product areas.
  • Work with UX research, analytics, and customer insights teams to understand user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns, and identify important problems to solve.
  • Constantly drive WAU and monetization ideation, using iterative development to experiment with solutions that, when successful, will be deployed across tens of millions of users worldwide.
  • Lead a globally distributed, cross-functional team through the product development lifecycle, including continuous discovery, product definition, user testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Present business cases to incorporate your features into Samsung partner division products.

Required Skills


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product development for software-focused businesses that shipped successful products
  • Professional working proficiency in Korean and English
  • At least 1+ year of experience working on B2C native mobile applications
  • Strong knowledge of web and mobile analytics tools
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 


Desired Skills


  • 3+ years of product owner/product manager experience
  • Experience working on a product that’s on multiple surfaces (e.g., web, native mobile, voice, hardware)
  • Experience optimizing a subscription business using experimentation techniques 
  • Experience in B2C nutrition or health tech
  • A technical background

Terms of Engagement


  • On-site at Samsung Digital City in Suwon, South Korea, with limited remote work flexibility when collaborating heavily with team members in Europe and/or the US
  • 40 hours per week, contract-based (long-term)
