Associate Global Strategist (2026 Summer Internship, Class of 2027)

Samsung Global Strategy Group (GSG) is a team within Samsung dedicated to developing a pipeline of talented global leaders and creating positive business impact for Samsung. This unique program offers the opportunity to engage in high impact strategic projects while advancing a leadership career at Samsung. Associate Global Strategists are expected to conduct the same role of our full-time members and get hands on experience on the day in the life of a Global Strategist at GSG. Global Strategist is a unique position that allows smart and motivated professionals to: (i) Develop into future leaders with a unique combination of general management skills, a strategic toolkit, cross-cultural communication abilities, and functional expertise. Serving as a leadership pipeline for Samsung, GSG enables Global Strategists to (i) gain a comprehensive understanding of Samsung's operations, (ii) build a robust personal network within Samsung, and (iii) identify a relevant, long-term career path within the company. After 1.5 to 2 years in GSG, Global Strategists are expected to transition into functional positions at Samsung affiliated companies in Korea. These opportunities may include roles in Sales, Marketing, Retail and Online Strategy, Partnership, Business Development, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, Product Innovation, Public Relations, and other corporate groups. Following approximately 4 years in Korea, Global Strategists then transition into leadership roles at overseas Samsung subsidiaries and regional headquarters. (ii) Engage in impactful work on project teams across diverse industries, functions, and geographies, delivering customized client solutions. Collaborate closely with senior Samsung management and interact with global stakeholders in a highly visible role. While at GSG, Global Strategists undertake high-profile strategy projects that significantly impact Samsung's business performance. GSG partners with various Samsung affiliates, including Electronics, Device Solutions, and SDS. Projects may involve market entry analysis, new product design and marketing strategy, channel strategy, and more. GSG's project scope is global, aligned with Samsung's international operations and emerging opportunities. Expect to support Samsung businesses in dynamic and diverse markets such as the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, India, China, and beyond.
