As Business Development Manager, you will be a key person in the development of our business in southern Poland. Your task will be not only to acquire new customers, but also to build long-term relationships and ensure the highest quality of service. This position gives you a lot of freedom of action and the possibility to have a real impact on the company's development. Main responsibilities: Active sales of Samskip services and market development (focus on southern Poland), Building long-term relationships and maintaining sales in your region, Meeting sales targets and monitoring the market for new opportunities, Liaising with the operations team and suppliers on service offerings, Working closely with the Customer Service Department in Gdansk to ensure the highest standard of service, Communicating new products and service improvements, Regular meetings with customers and periodic travel to Gdansk or headquarters (Netherlands). What we are looking for: Sales process knowledge, Transport industry knowledge and container shipping experience (preferred), Effective communicator, Persistent negotiator, Good organization skills, Self-started, comfortable with working remotely, Very good level of English (speaking and writing), At least 2 years of experience in sales department, At least 2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry (road FTL or container/intermodal – preferred).
