Production Coordinator (Manufacturing)


SALARY: 

$18-$20 per hour


TYPE: 

Part-Time / Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Constantly pursuing excellence in people, products and performance. Our Production Team is currently seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join us and succeed. 


JOB SUMMARY: 

The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring efficient workflow across departments. This role serves as a key link between production, supply chain, and quality teams to help meet output, quality, and delivery targets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders. 
  • Communicate production priorities, updates, and changes across departments. 
  • Track work-in-progress (WIP) and maintain accurate production records. 
  • Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability. 
  • Identify and  escalate production delays, shortages, or quality issues. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce downtime. 
  • Prepare and distribute production reports and performance metrics. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards. 
  • Assist supervisors and managers with administrative and operational tasks. 

Requirements

  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish). 
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills); ERP/MRP system experience is a plus. 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
