Description
SUMMARY: This position is an entry-mid level Maintenance Technician to oversee the pm and maintenance of production machinery. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting project completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling them as necessary.
- Lubricate, diagnose, and operate the equipment.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Troubleshooting maintenance of repair on primarily PLC-controlled machines
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Work independently and with other team members to safely complete repairs.
- Prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Collaborates with the product manager or the plant engineer regarding new products will be required.

Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Ability to use common test tools – multi-meters etc.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, is required.
- Technical schools and or military schools a plus.
- 1 - 2 Years – Experience in a Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 1 - 2 Years – Experience in Position
- Bilingual is a plus, not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
