About The Opportunity
We are a dynamic company operating within the garment manufacturing sector in India. Our focus is on delivering high-quality apparel products, and we are seeking a dedicated Sampling Merchandiser to join our team on-site. The role involves managing sample production, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring product quality and timelines are met.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the sample development process from design approval to final delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely sampling according to batch requirements.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure samples meet product specifications.
- Monitor progress, communicate updates, and resolve issues related to sampling.
- Prepare and maintain sampling documentation and reports.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to streamline sample approval processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience in garment sampling coordination within the apparel industry.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and sample development processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of quality assurance standards in garments.
Preferred
- Experience with sampling in export or high-fashion garments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sample management software.
- Familiarity with fabric and material specifications.
