Job Description Are you passionate about the future of Artificial Intelligence and have a keen eye for detail? Sama is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Junior AI Data Labeler to join our growing remote team in Kenya. In this role, you will play a crucial part in training AI models by accurately annotating and categorizing data across various formats, including images, video, and text. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI projects from the comfort of your home. We provide comprehensive training, so no prior experience in AI data labeling is required, making this an ideal opportunity for entry-level professionals eager to start a career in the tech industry. Key Responsibilities - Accurately label and annotate data (images, video, text, audio) according to specific project guidelines and client requirements. - Maintain high levels of data quality and consistency across all assigned tasks. - Identify and escalate any ambiguities or issues in project guidelines to team leads. - Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets. - Learn and adapt to new labeling tools and techniques quickly. - Actively participate in team discussions and feedback sessions to improve overall data quality. Required Skills - Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks. - Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. - Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital tools and interfaces. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. - Reliable internet connection and a personal computer/laptop suitable for online work. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of project data. Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience with data entry, quality assurance, or similar detail-oriented roles. - Familiarity with basic AI/Machine Learning concepts. - Experience with various software tools and platforms. - A diploma or certificate in IT, data science, or a related field.
