Role: Frontend Staff Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a key player in the development and scaling of our SaaS platform. As an Individual contributor, your responsibilities will include:

1. Building and Platformizing: Lead the development and platformization of our SaaS product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
2. Product-Oriented Development: Collaborate closely with product managers to shape and turn the product vision into reality. Your product mindset will drive engineering-led initiatives that align with business goals.
3. Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Lead by example in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
4. Engineering Initiatives: Initiate and drive engineering projects that enhance the platform’s capabilities and performance. Be proactive in identifying opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements.
5. Experience with Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture to ensure modularity and flexibility of the platform.
6. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work cross-functionally with designers, architects, and other stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
7. Documentation and Standards: Ensure thorough documentation of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Promote adherence to coding standards and code reviews to maintain code quality.
8. Technical Expertise: Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, bringing new ideas to the team to keep our platform at the cutting edge.

You should have...

1. An Engineering degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline
2. 6–8 years of experience as a Frontend developer, preferably a SaaS platform
3. A strong product mind
4. Ability to unite and collaborate with the team
5. At least 2+ years in a relevant position
6. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript
7. Frontend development experience with React and UI testing 5+ years
8. Knowledge of Material UI and Frontend Ecosystem
9. Understanding interaction principles between Frontend and Backend, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and RESTful APIs
10. Strong learning agility
11. A sense of responsibility and ownership towards what you build

1. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
2. Some contributions to the tech community (blogs, reputation on StackOverflow, commits to open-source, etc
