You should have...

1. An Engineering degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
2. Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL
3. Understanding of GIT
4. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
5. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
6. Experience with IaC frameworks (Chef/Ansible/Terraform/Helm)
7. Experience with Jenkins
8. Willingness to learn and help people learn
9. A sense of responsibility and ownership towards what you build - for it to be of high quality

You get brownie points if you have...

1. Admiration for JavaScript, some knowledge of Node.js
2. SaaS product experience
3. Some contribution to the tech community (blogs, reputation on stack overflow, commits to open source, etc)
4. A good sense of humor
