Responsibilities
1. AI Experimentation and Innovation:
○ Design and execute AI experiments to explore new methodologies and applications.
○ Develop proof-of-concept models to validate innovative AI ideas.
○ Stay updated with the latest advancements in Gen AI and traditional AI/ML.
- AI Product Development:
○ Develop scalable and robust AI modules to be integrated into our products.
○ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate AI models into customer-facing features.
○ Ensure AI solutions are maintainable, scalable, and deliver high performance.
- Team Leadership and Development:
○ Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and AI/ML engineers.
○ Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
○ Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Strategy and Vision:
○ Define and execute the AI vision and strategy for the company.
○ Identify opportunities for AI to drive business value and improve customer experiences.
○ Communicate AI strategy and progress to stakeholders and executives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
○ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
○ Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
○ Collaborate with external partners and researchers to drive AI innovation.
Qualifications:
○ Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
○ 6+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI/ML.
○ Proven track record of working on Gen AI and traditional AI/ML projects.
○ Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
○ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
○ Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
○ Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
○ Expertise in developing and deploying AI models in a production environment.
○ Expertise in applied mathematics, and proficiency in solving complex optimization problems using Linear Programming (LP), Integer Programming (IP), and Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP).
○ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
○ Strong communication and presentation abilities.
○ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
