Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Kozhikode. The Salesperson will welcome customers, present available ice cream flavors and products, and assist guests in making purchase decisions. Daily tasks include handling cash and digital payments, issuing receipts, maintaining product displays, and ensuring that the serving area is clean and organized. The role involves monitoring stock levels, restocking items as needed, and communicating with the team about inventory or customer requests. The Salesperson will also support promotional activities, provide product information, and uphold company standards for service and hygiene.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage politely and professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic sales and retail abilities, including upselling, cross-selling, and explaining product features clearly.
- Comfort with handling cash and digital payments, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale records.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, including standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks such as stocking and cleaning.
- Good communication skills in relevant local languages and English to assist customers effectively.
- Reliability in following hygiene, safety, and food-handling guidelines as per company standards.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
