Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an International Export Sales Manager located in Kolkata. We are specifically looking for someone who already has experience in the jute and cotton bag industry and understands international export sales.
The candidate will be fully responsible for developing and managing export sales business, generating and converting international clients, and maintaining strong buyer relationships. The role requires proactive outreach to importers, wholesalers, retailers, promotional companies, and overseas buyers.
Day-to-day responsibilities include handling client communication, generating inquiries, converting leads into confirmed orders, negotiating pricing, coordinating sampling and order execution, following up with buyers, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal production teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong client-conversion abilities, confidence in dealing with international buyers, and the capability to independently drive export business growth for the company.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in jute/cotton bag export sales is mandatory
• Strong ability to generate and convert international clients
• Experience handling overseas buyers and export orders independently
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to conduct outreach and develop new business opportunities
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Understanding of international trade and export processes
• Ability to coordinate effectively with production and operations teams
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of taking ownership of export sales
• Existing buyer network or industry connections will be an added advantage
